Self-confessed low-life Marcus Bliss has done it all – and blighted it all.
He worked in a variety of low-paid, low-status sales and bar jobs. Then in 2006 he trained as a journalist in the hope of becoming a renowned writer. A string of sackings from several newsrooms across the UK saw his media ambitions reduced to tatters.
Disenchanted and broke,Bliss fell under the tutorage of Papa Bastard, publisher of The Complete Bastard books. He transformed Bliss’s fortunes and encouraged him to write his first book Date Her, Dupe Her, Dump Her.
